Meet the leadership of the Pennsylvania Chapter of the American College of Health Care Aministrators
Christina Daley, PhD, NHA
President
​
Christina Daley is an experienced health care executive with more than 17 years of operational
experience in the post-acute care sector. She is a licensed nursing home administrator. Her
experience includes the management and leadership of Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Facilities, Dementia Units, Personal Care Homes and Assisted Living Facilities. Her areas of
research interest include skilled nursing facility leadership development, turnover, and burnout.
Christina has a Doctor of Philosophy Degree in Nonprofit Leadership studies from Indiana
University of Pennsylvania. She is a graduate of Pennsylvania State University, with a Master’s
Degree in Management. She also graduated from Clarion University with a Masters in Library Science. She completed her undergraduate degree in Sociology and Gerontology from
Shippensburg University.
Christina is married and lives with her husband, alpacas, pig, chickens, cats, and dogs in Spring
Mills, PA. She has three children, Brendon, Alex, and Collin.

Devon Bennett, MHA, NHA, CCO, PCHA/ALA, CDP, CMDCP
Chapter Past President/Vice President

Devon Bennett has spent the last 14 years in senior living in various roles with over half of that time in single and multi-site operations & Human Resources/ Compliance. He currently serves as the Executive Director and NHA for a single site Life Plan Community.
Devon has a Master's in Health Administration and Bachelor's in Health Management from the University of Phoenix. He is a licensed Nursing Home Administrator in both Pennsylvania and Maryland, a Certified Compliance Officer, PA Personal Care and Assisted Living Administrator, Certified Dementia Practitioner, and Certified Montessori Dementia Professional.
Devon lives in Mount Joy, PA with his wife and son, and in his spare time coaches and officates high school girls basketball. Devon is thrilled to help lead the PA Chapter as we grow and become a solid resource to the Chapter and our continuum of care.

Sharon Eyster, MA, LBSW, CNHA, FACHCA
Treasurer
Sharon is a PA Licensed, certified nursing home administrator with thirty-eight years’ experience in long term care. She has held various leadership positions throughout her career in non-for profit, county and for-profit organizations giving her a comprehensive understanding of how all sectors operate. She has
worked as a Director of Social Services, Personal Care Administrator, Skilled Care Administrator, and
Executive Director. Sharon was the Director of Operations at Wilmac Corporation for thirteen years until the company sold in 2021. She then worked as a Regional Vice President at CHR Consulting Services Inc. Sharon is currently the Chief Operating Officer/Vice President of Operations at United
Church of Christ Homes in Camp Hill, PA.
Sharon is Certified and a Fellow of the American College of Health Care Administrators where she has been an active member of the American College of Health Care Administrators since 2006. She currently serves as the Treasurer/Secretary for the National Board of the American College of Health Care
Administrators and as Treasurer of the PA Chapter ACHCA. She is also a past president of the PA
Chapter.
Sharon has served as a board member of the Pennsylvania Health Care Association and was active in various committees. She also served on the American Health Care Association Survey and Regulatory Review Committee for many years. Sharon is an Adjunct Faculty at Harrisburg Area Community College teaching the 120 Hour Nursing Home Administrator Course. She is the instructor for “Understanding the
Regulations, Quality Assurance” and “Survey Preparation/Writing Plans of Correction”. Sharon has been a Member of the York Area Agency on Aging Advisory Board since 2010.
She earned her Masters Degree in Health Law and Policy from Hofstra University, Maurice A. Dean School of Law where she graduated with distinction. She is also a Licensed bachelor’s degree Social Worker. Her Specialty areas of practice include leadership development, compliance, regulations, and operations management.

Lisa Garrett, JD
Secretary

Lisa is a Shareholder in the Employment & Labor Group at Dentons Cohen & Grigsby PC in Pittsburgh. She represents clients in a number of industries including, but not limited to, long-term care and the non-profit sector. She routinely defends employers in employment litigation cases before federal and state courts, unemployment compensation claims and discrimination claims before federal, state and local administrative agencies and provides counseling related to employee terminations and group layoffs, harassment investigations, compliance with the Family and Medical Leave Act and the Americans with Disabilities Act, preparation and review of personnel policies and employee handbooks, employment agreements and affirmative action compliance.
